I. Evidence of B2 Level English Proficiency, as demonstrated by the English for Medical Purposes Exam (EMPE), which must be passed with a score of 70%.
NVU provides preparation courses in Medical English to students who receive an EMPE score of 60% or higher (60-69%) (free of charge).

II. A 50% passing mark on the MCAT (Chemical and Physical Foundations of Biological Systems) or a certification in Biology and Chemistry is required.
Based on the student’s certificate or transcript from their previous school, the following requirements must be met in order to qualify for an exemption from the MCAT: 90 or more percentages in a minimum of two science-related subjects (Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Environment, whereby either Biology or Chemistry shall be included).
If a student meets the English Language admission requirements and also passed the MCAT exam with a score of 32 or higher, or has a grade point average of at least 90% in Biology or Chemistry in their previous school, NVU offers MCAT preparation classes (free of charge).
The student has the option to repeat the MCAT exam, which has a passing score requirement of 50%, after finishing the necessary prep courses.
