How do I apply to Izmir university of economics step by step
STEP 1: SUBMIT YOUR PAPERS.
Go to admission in Turkey page on Admissionex .com and submit all the required documents. After applying you’ll receive your pincode by email.
STEP 2: CONDITIONAL ACCEPTANCE.
After your application is positively evaluated, you will receive a conditional letter via e-mail.
STEP 3: DEPOSIT PAYMENT.
Pay the deposit money to University’s accounts which is mentioned in the conditional acceptance letter. Don’t forget to put your pincode in the payment description.
STEP 4: OFFICIAL ACCEPTANCE.
After paying the deposit, you will receive an Official Acceptance Letter with the description of farther registration steps on your e-mail.
STEP 5: REGISTRATION,
Prepare the original hard copies of your documents and come to the main campus to complete your registration. if you don’t have any acceptable English score you will be informed about the nearest English Exams session after your registration.
STEP 6: RESIDENCE PERMIT,
After completing your enrollment, visit International Students Office and apply for student residence permit.
Application process for undergraduate programs
International students can easily apply online on the application page of ADMISSIONEX without sending any hard copy of the application documents.
After online application is received, the documents will be evaluated by the relevant departments in Izmir University of Economics and the applicant will be notified about the result accordingly.

Financial Support for Students of Izmir University of Economics
To help the students financially during their course of study, there are different types of scholarships which are given to students under certain conditions.
Undergraduate and Associate Programs Scholarship and Discount Regulation
International Student Scholarship
It is a scholarship awarded to international students who want to study at undergraduate programs based on the quotas specific for countries within the scope of the internalization mission of the University. The scope and quotas of international student scholarship are determined by the Board of Trustees each year.
The duration for scholarships is as long as the maximum education period. It is 2 years in Foreign Language Preparatory Program, 4 years in Associate Programs, 7 years in four-year Undergraduate Programs, and 9 years in six-year Undergraduate Programs.
Scholarships continue until the end of this period. The period of deferred registration is added to their scholarship period.
International Student Scholarship (100%);
Covers annual tuition fees, excluding summer school fees,
Does not cover dormitory fees.
Academic Merit Discount
Students with an annual grade point average of 3.50 or higher receive a 50% discount on the tuition fee if they meet the requirements.

Chamber of Commerce Members Discount
Students, who are registered to IUE as a paid student, meeting the conditions specified below, are awarded a 25% tuition fee discount for Izmir Chamber of Commerce membership, and 15% discount for memberships for Izmir District Chambers of Commerce, and other provincial and district chambers of commerce affiliated to the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey:
Blood relatives and in-laws of members (Pursuant to Article 18 of Turkish Civil Code, one of the spouses and blood relatives of the other spouse are considered in-laws at same level and type.) of Izmir Chamber of Commerce and Izmir District Chambers of Commerce, and other provincial and district chambers of commerce affiliated to the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey who are

Sibling, Parent, Child, Spouse Discount
A 10% discount is applied to parents, children, and spouses studying in associate, undergraduate, and graduate, programs of Izmir University of Economics at the same time.
Foreign Language Preparatory Program Second Year Discount
Students, who could not succeed in the Foreign Preparatory Program at the end of the first academic year, qualify for 50% discount in tuition fees for the second academic year.
Foreign Language Preparatory Program Second Year Discount does not cover
summer school fees and
dormitory fees.
Undergraduate Alumni Discount
Students, who graduated from the undergraduate program receive 25% discount on the tuition fee for master and doctorate education.
Athlete Discount
IUE Athlete Discount, at the rates determined by our university, is awarded in order to attract athletically gifted student-athletes to Izmir University of Economics so they can join the University team and represent the University in their branches, and “100% Ministry of Youth and Sports National Athlete Discount” is awarded to national athletes who are certified to be successful in the sports fields specified in the OSYM guide in the last 4 years within the scope of the agreement signed between the University and the Ministry of Youth and Sports.

The Izmir University of Economics Student Dormitory was built to house students from all over Turkey and abroad in a safe, clean, and healthy environment while fostering and facilitating their social life.
The 2006-opened Student Dormitory is ideally situated on Campus. Izmir University of Economics try our best to make them feel at home because the Student Dormitory serves as many people’s second home in addition to being a part of the University.
As a result, Izmir University of Economics like to say “Welcome Home” to all kids instead of just “Welcome.”

You can obtain material from our extensive book collection and online resources in our library. There are 58 thousand printed books and 1 million 49 thousand electronic books in our library, as well as 22 desktop computers for research and study. About the dormitories
1. What are the Student Dormitories facilities?
Izmir University of Economics Student Dormitories have a capacity of 471 students within the University campus. All doors operate with a personalized card system.
Students can reside in single rooms or rooms for four in each dormitory.
All rooms come with a bathroom, bed, wardrobe, nightstand, desk, bookcase, refrigerator, phone, and internet.
The Dormitory provides pillows, bedsheets, bedspread, blanket, and duvet covers.
Rooms are cleaned every other day, and bedding is changed once a week.
There is a central air conditioning system in the building. Geothermal energy is used for heating and hot water.
There is a kitchen, laundry and ironing room, multi-purpose hall, study room and masjid that students can use in each of the student dormitories.
There is also a cafeteria in the boy’s dormitory.There is a cafeteria in the building. 5M Migros, Carrefoursa hypermarkets, and Agora, Palmiye, Ege Park shopping malls and movie theaters are all walking distance from the Campus.
2. Does the Student Dormitory cover meals?
Student Dormitories offers accommodation only. Breakfasts and meals are provided as table d’hôtel or a la carte at the restaurants (for a fee) located in the main building and dormitory building.
In addition, there are kitchens in both dormitories for students to cook. Kitchens are equipped with microwave ovens, stovetops and toasters.
