2018 saw the establishment of Istanbul Atlas University in the Kâthane neighborhood close to Sisli and Taksim on the European side of the city. The university’s academic educational adventure began in 2020–2021.

How do I apply to Istanbul Atlas University step by step

STEP 1: SUBMIT YOUR PAPERS.

Go to admission in Turkey page on Admissionex .com and submit all the required documents. After applying you’ll receive your pincode by email.

STEP 2: CONDITIONAL ACCEPTANCE.

After your application is positively evaluated, you will receive a conditional letter via e-mail.

STEP 3: DEPOSIT PAYMENT.

Pay the deposit money to University’s  accounts which is mentioned in the conditional acceptance letter. Don’t forget to put your pincode in the payment description.

Once your pre-application has been assessed and approved, you need to pay a deposit of 2,000 USD for the Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry (Turkish) programs, 3.500 USD for the Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry (English) programs, and 500 USD for other undergraduate and associate degree programs.

STEP 4: OFFICIAL ACCEPTANCE.

After paying the deposit, you will receive an Official Acceptance Letter with the description of farther registration steps on your e-mail.

STEP 5: REGISTRATION,

Prepare the original hard copies of your documents and come to the main campus to complete your registration. if you don’t have any acceptable English score you will be informed about the nearest English Exams session  after your registration.

STEP 6: RESIDENCE PERMIT,

After completing your enrollment, visit International Students Office and apply for student residence permit.

Requirements to study at Istanbul Atlas University  

Before starting the application process at Istanbul Atlas University , please make sure that you have prepared an electronic copy of the following documents in PDF format:

Certified High School Diploma, its notarized Turkish translation, High School Diploma Equivalency Certificate from the Turkish Ministry of Education (MEB)

Certified transcript copy (Turkish or English translation)

Current exam result (SAT, ACT, ASL, Baccalaureate, AYÖS, ABİTUR, KONKUR, TQDK…)

For applicants to programs in foreign language education: a record of scores for one English Language Competency Examinations (Atlas University Instutional Exemption Test, CAE B LEVEL, CPE C LEVEL, TOEFL 75, IELTS 6,5. Those students are exempt from the preparatory class)

Minimum scores required for Masters in English  

TOEFL IBT min 79, PTE min 67, CAE B Level, CPE C Level , Proficiency Exam 80/100

Turkish Proficiency Certificateat B2: TÖMER, Yunus Emre Institute, Atlas University Turkish Proficiency (available online)

For ones with double nationality, document indicating that primary nationality is not Republic of Turkey.

Evaluation of applications at Istanbul Atlas University

Once the candidates have filled in the online application form via Admissionex and the required documents have been uploaded through the system, the International Student Admissions Commission will review the documents and inform the applicant via e-mail regarding the application status.

For the candidates whose application requirements are accepted, an invitation letter is issued by Istanbul Atlas University for registration admission and visa procedures.

Candidates whose invitation letters will be issued are asked to deposit $2000 for the Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry, $500 for other undergraduate programs, $500 for associate degree programs prepayment / deposit fee to the bank account number specified by Istanbul Atlas University.

Payments are made in the form of depositing the amount of tuition 50% in advance and the remainder at the beginning of the spring semester. 5% discount is applied in advance payments.

Official registration procedures in Istanbul Atlas University and student ID card?

Student registrations are made by the Registrar’s Office.

The registration process cannot be completed unless the required documents are provided to the Istanbul Atlas University .

Until provided, existing registrations may be cancelled. The documents required for registration are as follows:

An original High School Diploma (an interim graduation certificate for newly graduated students whose diplomas have not been prepared by the registration date), an English or Turkish translation obtained from a certified translation bureau if the high school diploma is not in English

An “Equivalence Certificate,” which shows the equivalency of the diploma to those received from Turkish high schools, to be received from the T.R. Ministry of National Education or Turkish Embassies or Consulates in the country of residence

A transcript certified by the high school administration showing the grades and courses the candidate has taken in high school and an English or Turkish translation obtained from a certified translation bureau if the original document is not English

An original exam results document or a copy approved by a notary public in the country of residence or by Turkish Foreign Representatives (if applicable)

An English or Turkish translation of pages showing the passport credentials and validity obtained from a certified translation bureau if the passport information is not in English

A “Student Visa” to be obtained from Turkish Foreign Representatives (student certificate to be obtained from Istanbul Atlas University and a copy of a new residence permit for study from the Foreigners Branch for foreigners living in Turkey)

A residence permit (must be submitted to the registrar’s office within a month of the registration date)

Health Insurance (obtained in Turkey)

An original Foreign Language or Turkish Proficiency document approved by the Turkish Embassy or Consulate in the country of residence (if applicable)

A bank receipt showing that the contribution has been deposited

Six passport photos

After the registration is officially completed by the Registrar’s Office, the student ID card will be prepared and given to the student within one week.

The Campus of Atlas University

The Istanbul campus The 110 thousand square meters of Vadi city are where Atlas University is situated. The campus is connected to a motorway and is located close to Maslak, Taksim, and Levent, three significant Turkish cities.

On a 75,000 square meter site, there are numerous labs and research facilities, a conference room, and a research center with more than 400 beds for the Faculty of Dentistry. Additionally, there are 23 laboratories, a 2500 square meter library, a gym, and numerous restaurants.
