The Business Academy of Georgia was established in November 2010, and it has since been authorized and granted community college status.
At this point, the academy was running programs for vocational education under the leadership of the Customs, operating to the standards of the programs that were started by the school.
For the effective execution of educational programs, the academy staff has created a number of instructional resources.
Since its founding, the academy has aspired to grow and advance professionally.

On September 25, 2014, Business Academy of Georgia-SBA was entitled, to implement English language Business Administration bachelor program, by the decision of authorization council of higher education institutions.
On August 09, 2018, Business Academy of Georgia-SBA was gained the status of comminity college.

The SBA is a development-oriented institution that places a strong emphasis on training professionals with knowledge relevant to labor market demands and skills in the field of entrepreneurship. As a result, the academy offers the option of formal and informal education for lifelong learning. By utilizing both qualification programs and extracurricular activities, the learning process in the academy is concentrated on developing lifelong learning key competencies in addition to the development of field competences. This helps to increase the graduate’s employability, personal growth, and upbringing as an active member of the community.

- Offer high-quality training, retraining, internship programs for job seekers and employees in Georgia and abroad;
- Offer to consult, research, and planning services for existing businesses and entrepreneurs, including in terms of internationalization of activities;
- Offer different types of software for businesses and/or outsourced services in certain functional areas of their activity.
