How do I apply to Halic University step by step
STEP 1: SUBMIT YOUR PAPERS.
Go to admission in Turkey page on Admissionex .com and submit all the required documents. After applying you’ll recive your pincode by email.
STEP 2: CONDITIONAL ACCEPTANCE.
After your application is positively evaluated, you will recive a conditional letter via e-mail.
STEP 3: DEPOSIT PAYMENT.
Pay the deposit money to University’s accounts which is mentioned in the conditional acceptance letter. Don’t forget to put your pincode in the payment description.
STEP 4: OFFICIAL ACCEPTANCE.
After paying the deposit, you will recive an Official Acceptance Letter with the description of farther registration steps on your e-mail.
STEP 5: REGISTRATION,
Prepare the original hard copies of your documents and come to istanbul to the main campus to complete your registration. if you don’t have any acceptable English score you will be informed about the nearest English Exams session after your registration.
STEP 6: RESIDENCE PERMIT,
After completing your enrollment, visit International Students Office and apply for student residence permit.

For Undergraduate-Associate Degree Applications:

- Copy of your high school diploma (if you are in the last year of high school, an official letter from the high school administration stating your status)

- Copy of your passport (personal information page)

- Students who will apply for a PhD program must upload both their undergraduate and graduate documents to the system
Official registration procedures in Halic University and student ID card
Student registrations are made by the Registrar’s Office.
The registration process cannot be completed unless the required documents are provided to the Halic University.
Until provided, existing registrations may be cancelled. The documents required for registration are as follows:
An original High School Diploma (an interim graduation certificate for newly graduated students whose diplomas have not been prepared by the registration date), an English or Turkish translation obtained from a certified translation bureau if the high school diploma is not in English
- An “Equivalence Certificate,” which shows the equivalency of the diploma to those received from Turkish high schools, to be received from the T.R. Ministry of National Education or Turkish Embassies or Consulates in the country of residence
- A transcript certified by the high school administration showing the grades and courses the candidate has taken in high school and an English or Turkish translation obtained from a certified translation bureau if the original document is not English
- An original exam results document or a copy approved by a notary public in the country of residence or by Turkish Foreign Representatives (if applicable)
- An English or Turkish translation of pages showing the passport credentials and validity obtained from a certified translation bureau if the passport information is not in English
- A “Student Visa” to be obtained from Turkish Foreign Representatives (student certificate to be obtained from our university and a copy of a new residence permit for study from the Foreigners Branch for foreigners living in Turkey)
- A residence permit (must be submitted to the registrar’s office within a month of the registration date)
- Health Insurance (obtained in Turkey)
- An original Foreign Language or Turkish Proficiency document approved by the Turkish Embassy or Consulate in the country of residence (if applicable)
- A bank receipt showing that the contribution has been deposited
- Six passport photos
After the registration is officially completed by the Registrar’s Office, the student ID card will be prepared and given to the student within one week.
Does Halic University accept Transfer Applications?
Now it’s possible for current students in other universities inside or outside Turkey to apply for a transfer application. With the Haliç International Online Application Portal, students can apply for a transfer application.
You need to upload the following documents to the Application Form:
– High School Transcript
– High School Diploma
– University Transcript: must contain all the courses completed, with the grades earned, and the overall grade point average (CGPA)
– Courses Description: must contain information about the courses curriculum, course materials, and any other important departmental information.
– Student Certificate
– Equivalency Certificate (Denklik)
Please note that all documents given by the former university must be stamped and in a sealed envelope.

What is the Conditional Acceptance Letter?
The Conditional Acceptance Letter states that you are conditionally accepted at Haliç University with term that need to be met before your official acceptance can be finalized.
After confirming the deposit payment, you’ll be issued the Official Acceptance Letter.
Note: Your Conditional Acceptance Letter will be invalid in case the quota in your program is full.
Does Haliç University have 2-intakes (Fall & Spring) ?
Bachelor’s degree applications are only accepted in the fall semester.
Graduate’s degree applications are accepted in both intakes, Fall & Spring.
What is the deposit payment for? Is it non-refundable?
After the approval of your application, and the conditional acceptance letter being sent, a non-refundable deposit of $1,000 ($4,500 for medicine) should be paid.
The deposit is considered as a guarantee of the applicant’s intent to study at Haliç University. This deposit amount will then be deducted from the tuition fee for the registration.
Does Haliç University offer any scholarships?
Haliç University offers only academic merit scholarship for those who completed their first year already in the University.
You can have up to 15% scholarship after completing your first year in our University. In order to have scholarship you will need to start and complete your first semester with fixed tuition fee.
